Workshop outline:

  • Brief overview of somatic yoga, its connection to self-compassion, and the role of neuroscience inbrain-to- muscle integration.

  • Setting intentions: A short grounding meditation to help participants tune into their emotional and physical bodies

  • Somatic Yoga Practice: Mindful movements to create a brain-to-muscle connection, calm the nervous system and build self awareness

  • Creative Vinyasa Flow

  • Kirtan: call and response chanting to foster connection, joy and emotional release

  • Yoga Nidra and harmonium closing

  • Closing Circle
